Thanksgiving Blessings

Every year since we started Fairway Farm we plant blueberries at or around Thanksgiving.  Not only is it the perfect time for planting, it’s the perfect time for spending time with friends and family.  The weather is usually sunny and cool with Carolina Blue skies.  There is lots of hard work, laughter and good times.  Some of our initial plants from three years ago are now as tall as me and our volunteer planting crew has grown from three friends to five this year.  Our new plants bring the total number of blueberries to nearly 850.  Mike and I are fortunate to have family and friends who have embraced our vision for the future of Fairway Farm.  Happy Thanksgiving!
