This spring we were fortunate to be in the inaugural group of Moore County NC farms to kick off the Visit NC Farms app. Through the dedicated hard work of the County Extension office, the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, local farms, farmer’s markets and farm to table restauranteurs, the app went live at the end of April.
It was exciting to be a part of this project. Farming and agritourism are a big part of Moore County that is often overshadowed by the Golf and Equestrian aspects of tourism in our community.
